Legacy of Stone (produced by Richard Douglas) follows the work of ASI’s Dr. Ronald Williamson and Mohawk Traditionalist Dr. William Woodworth as they combine science with Indigenous traditions and beliefs to better understand a unique archaeological find on the shores of Lake Erie: a flint quarry that was used for thousands of years. The occupation of this site predates European contact and formal tribal associations. These people are a mystery, but this work is helping to create a more complete understanding of their lives, beliefs and their connection to the flint.
