On Friday, September 13, 2013, ASI joined representatives from the University of Toronto, the Ontario Heritage Trust and other regional centres of learning for an all-day discussion at the Hart House at the University of Toronto regarding past, present and future repatriation issues, including reburials. The event was organized after the successful repatriation of 1760 sets of skeletal remains from various archaeological sites. In attendance were many Huron-Wendat, Wyandot and Mohawk representatives.
