As most people know, archaeologist work closely with First Nations and their representatives. We do so at consultation tables for major planning initiatives and when engaging with Indigenous communities around the practice of archaeology.

It is important for our own community members to understand the nature of the relationship between the Province and First nations as autonomous governments. We are following this story closely and note this historic announcement.
