Niagara’s annual Indigenous arts gathering is forging ahead with a hybrid format this year! For anyone wanting to join in virtually, a free livestream will be broadcasting talks, storytelling and musical performances. For those attending in person, there are exhibitions and workshops to check out! This year’s event is celebrating the creativity, diversity and resilience of Indigenous people.
On Sunday, September 12th at 2pm, our Managing Partner Rob MacDonald will be participating in a virtual fireside chat that focuses on seeking wisdom and passing knowledge forward to the generations that will come after us. Also on the panel are Eli Enns, an expert on Indigenous-led conservation, Larry McDermott executive director of Plenty Canada, Melanie Goodchild founder of the Turtle Island Institute, and Tim Johnson, artistic producer of Celebration of Nations. This will be an important conversation between an incredibly knowledgeable group of elders, scholars, and scientists. We hope you can join us on the livestream!
